Coconut Desert Lime Icecream is Australia’s answer to real ice cream. Our products are free from preservatives, artificial flavours, artificial colours, gluten and gelatine and carrageenan thickeners. Coconut & Desert Lime Icecream is a specialty icecream which is normally available all year around. Customers can buy it during the Royal Adelaide Show and find us at the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market each and every Sunday.

Designed for those people who are allergic to dairy products, are vegans or simply want a healthy fresh fruit taste. We have developed a family owned technology that creates a “dairy free icecream”. With the full-cream texture of a premium icecream and sugar (sucrose) replaced with souble fibres and the polyols, Maltitol and Xylitol, which have a very low glycemic index.

The Australian Desert Lime is small with an intense piquant flavour. It’s an extremely versatile fruit that can be used in any product/process where ‘normal’ limes or lemons are used. The main difference being their small size, lack of peel and more intense flavour. Desert limes require no peeling or preparation. They have the valuable attribute of freezing down without losing flavour or presentation characteristics when thawed later for use.
The fruit has been analysed as a very healthy food source having three times the amount of Vitamin C compared to oranges. Desert Limes were eaten by aborigines and have been used by generations of Australian outback people to make cordials, sauces, garnishes marmalade’s, pickles and chutneys. Thirsty stock men eat the fruit straight from the trees while mustering as a thirst quencher.
